The Pocket Console® with dmXact™ LED Readout – Works BEST on the latest high rate LED fixtures.

Allows
realtime output in DMX 0-255, DMX% 0-100 and binHex 00-FF readout of
faders. EXCELLENT test tool giving precise output data.

The Pocket Console® is the inexpensive source for the smallest, most graphic “hands-on” and “user-friendly” DMX-512 theatrical lighting console made.
  • It is small, lightweight, portable and designed to be hand held
  • Levels are set using eight faders (slider pots)
  • Each FADER has an associated bump button
  • 512 dimmer addresses are patchable to any of the eight faders
  • The faders are patchable using from 0 to 512 dimmer addresses per fader
  • The unit is powered by a 9v battery OR by a 120v AC power supply

If you are looking for a basic and reliable device to test, setup or run a DMX-512 controlled, single universe system, this is the product you need.

Don’t forget a case!

From May Issue of LIVE DESIGN

My current favorite is the Pocket Console from BCi…I own a couple, and find them to be a great tool for many applications. I am a production electrician- primarily doing corporate shows, but I also do several sports events, trade shows, and the occasional one-off concerts.

I use the Pocket Console for ringing out a truss before flying it out to trim…checking both conventionals and automated. I use it when troubleshooting just about any dmx device such as scrollers, strobes, LED fixtures, as well as moving lights. I run it into the “DMX-B” port on a Sensor rack to troubleshoot various problems without having to ask board op’s to turn on a specific dimmer or park something while I work on it. I also run backstage work lights, hazers, etc., thru the B port of the rack…once again not bothering board ops with such things. I’ve even used it as a Wing for a Hog II in a pinch.

When an LD asks can if I can throw up a couple of booms out in the foyer and hang some fru fru lights out there, I can toss a Pocket Console on it with a preset look and forget about it…batteries last a solid 6 to 8 hours.
